The SEBMFA Crawley Free Flight Indoor Meeting at K2 takes place on Sunday 3 February.
There will be the usual mix of fun and competition flying from 11am to 6pm in this large venue. Entry is £8 for flyers, £2.50 spectators.
For those wanting to take part in the popular Butterfly and Hangar Rat mass launches, models can be obtained from Flitehook in kit or ready built form.

The North Eastern area held their AGM on Wednesday 6th December apart from the usual posts up for re-election, Alan Weighell decided that 20 years as Area delegate was enough, and stepped down from this post. Fortunately all the officers were prepared to stand for another term, and so all posts were filled un-opposed. This left us to co-opt some one to take the role of Area Delegate. No volunteers so as Area Chairman I stepped down and was co-opted into the role of Area Delegate, since no volunteers came forward to chair the Area Alan Weighell was co- opted into that Role. So on behalf of the North Eastern Area I would like to thank Alan for all he has done, and wish him well in his other roles within the society. Tom Jones Area PRO

Indoor events, catering for shockies, scale, and freeflight in 20 minute slots from 11.00 to 17.00 on the following Sundays through the Winter and Spring 2008,in a naturally lit sports hall at the Springhill Sports Centre, Turf Hill Road, OL16 4XQ.

Fixed wing models only. BMFA insurance only. Bring a model for each class, and fly for 6 hours for only £3!

Hexham model Flying Club are hosting a talk by Kieth Mitchell, builder of the 1/3rd scale Hawker Hunter. This will be held on the 7th November 2007 at 8pm at the Hexham Ex-Service Club, 1 Hallstile Bank, Hexham.
