The 2008 Children’s Flight Challenge in celebration of 100 years of British Aviation is once again to take place at the exciting venue of the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, this year in Hanger 2.
The date for your Diary is Saturday the 28th of June 2008, entry to the competition and museum will be free of charge for team members plus two helpers per team (a discounted entry fee will apply for others attending as part of this event).
The closing date for entries is 1st June 2008.
Introduced as a stepping stone between the Premier League and the Elite Class, utilizes a standard Gyminnie Cricket kit from the BMFA range of Educational kits.
The competition categories are as follows:
Junior team Up to 12 years old (including Year 7)
Senior Team Up to 14 years old (including Year 9)
Premier League Up to 16 years old (including Year 11)
Elite Competition Up to age 18 (at date of competition)
Gyminnie Cricket Up to age 18 (at date of competition)
If you would like to enter a team(s) from your school or youth group in the 2008 Flight Challenge, please complete the entry form and return to the British Model Flying Association. You will receive a starter pack which includes rules and a free BMFA Dart Kit (Flight Challenge variant).
The BMFA can also supply all the kits and materials required to enter the challenge.
