The North Eastern Area was first formed in 1946 and covers the area between Teesside and Carlise / Whithaven in the west and as far north as you would care to go. The Area has in excess of 1,000 members and ove 33 clubs.

Northern Ireland Association of Aeromodellers (http://www.niaeromodellers.com)
Area 13 : The Northern Ireland Association of Aero modellers (NIAA) is the governing body for the promotion and development of aero modelling in N. Ireland. We currently have twenty-four NIAA affiliated clubs located throughout the province. Most of our clubs are involved in a range of model flying activities such as powered fixed wing, gliders and helicopters. However some specialise in specific disciplines such as control-line flying and free flight (indoor).
