| The club was formed in 1968, with the primary objective to provide a high quality airfield for radio control aircraft modellers. The flying site is at the eastern end of a deactivated WW2 airfield, near the Somerset village of Westonzoyland, on the A372 Bridgwater to Langport road. We number around 80 members, of all flying abilities and ages. Our main interest is R/C powered fixed wing aircraft, mainly sport, aerobatic, scale, stand-off scale & vintage models. Other interests include ducted fan & GT jets, helicopters, electric powered models and sailplanes. We also organise Top Gun UK.
