The South Midlands Soaring Association (SMSA) is a club for radio control model glider pilots. The majority of the activities for the club are slope soaring, and silent flight. Now in it's third successful year.Each year during the first week in September we run an "International Scale Aerotow Meeting" with many famous scale pilots coming to fly with us from all over Europe. Including a teaching scheme whereby we are helping to prepare some of the UK's best young scale talent for the future of scale soaring in England!
