The club members fly model aircraft of all disciplines. Including junior members the club membership now totals 135, and there is a substantial waiting list of prospective members. The area around Claverham Drove, Yatton where the flying field is situated has been designated an area of special scientific interest, the wildlife varies from stag beetles to kingfishers, swans buzzards and even mink. The club plays an active role in promoting the conservation of this wildlife. Flying can take place from 10 am until dusk each day, depending on the weather, visiting spectators are welcome, but please heed the signs with regard to safety. The club has an annual show in July of each year featuring models of all types and sizes and full size visting aircraft.
