Our club is one of the longest established and largest in the south of England, with some 180 members. We have two flying sites which caters for all aspects of Radio Control flying. We are affiliated to the BMFA, and embrace their training scheme wholeheartedly, with plenty of excellent instructors and a band of dedicated BMFA examiners. We encourage new members and offer comprehensive training to get them through those difficult first flights. The club holds monthly evening meetings with guest speakers and events linked to aviation. The monthly newsletter keeps everyone in touch with club news, competitions and modeling attractions around the area. We are committed to providing an active club with a good atmosphere, promoting the hobby and encouraging competent pilots to fly in a safe and enjoyable manner.

Lambourn Model Flying Group (http://lmfg.org)
The Lambourn Model Flying Group formally came into being on the 1 January 2006. The Club operates from the old wartime airfield of Membury, which is close to the village of Lambourn in Berkshire. We encourage all types of model flying, but with the M4 motorway running along its northern boundary and with two large motorway service stations and a 500’ television mast close by, the site is not perhaps, well suited to free flight models. We can fly every day of the week and so as well as the usual bunch of weekend flyers our members often turn up on weekdays and particularly during the long summer evenings. If you are looking for a friendly, safe environment with very reasonable membership fees to fly your planes then look no further than L.M.F.G.!
