MARK SMALLWOOD – WORCESTER MAC
It is with great sorrow that I have to announce the passing of a former member of our club.
Many members will remember Mark Smallwood with great affection, as he taught many of our current members the art of flying radio controlled models and was a good servant as a committee member and club member.
Mark was always prepared to put himself out to help in any way he could, no matter what the subject, he decided that model flying was getting a bit tame so moved on to racing cars as well as his scuba diving in which he also instructed, and paragliding, he recently took up full size gliding which in this case claimed his life due to a tragic accident.
Mark was by no means athletic but very sporty and lived by the “Olympic Motto” Faster Higher Further always reaching out for new achievement’s.
Although he hasn’t been a member for a few years his memory will live on for a long time to come.
The funeral is Tuesday 9th June at St. Augustine’s Dodderhill nr Droitwich at 2:15 and the family will be happy for anyone who knew him too attend.
