UPDATE

We have received a good number of entries for both classes of the competition already but it is not too late to submit your teams’ entry for this year’s challenge. All supporting documentation must be with the judging panel by Thursday the 5th of May in order to avoid accruing penalties.

Further details to follow.

2011 WORLD FREE FLIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS

Next year’s World Championships for Free Flight will be held near Cordoba, Argentina from May 2-9th.

As usual, supporters are encouraged to fly out with the team, and this is a chance to witness what promises to be a memorable event, with over 40 national teams likely to take part. There will be a World Cup contest for F1A gliders, F1B Wakefields and F1C power models prior to the Championships, in which all can compete.

It’s also an opportunity to see a remarkable country and you may want to add a holiday to the Championships; the venue is quite near the Andes and the scenery and wildlife (think condors) make it well worth considering.

If you want more details, please contact the team manager, Martin Dilly, on 020 8777 5533, e-mail martindilly@compuserve.com or write to him at 20, Links Road, West Wickham, Kent BR4 0QW before Dec. 15th.
